Summary

Task 2 had as objectives 1) to collect, analyse, synthesize and disseminate information on all aspects of alternative motor fuels and 2) to create a common basis for information on alternative motor fuels with a view to facilitate their market introduction. Altogether over 20 reports in a series of "TRENDS" were prepared discussing developments in Europe, Japan and North America of various alternative and reformulated fuels with emphasis on regulated and unregulated emissions, local environment, health and climate effects.
